About the shop
Opened in July, 2018, the shop is located at 66 Church Road, opposite the Olympic Studios and Cinema in Barnes, SW13 0NU.
Olympic Studios Records ("OSR") is a community record shop specialising in vintage and new vinyl records. It celebrates the rich music recording history of the Olympic Studios, one of the great British recording institutions. From 1966 to 2009, some 1075 albums were recorded and/or mixed, either wholly or partly at the Studios - we are collecting these albums as part of the archive for the Olympic Studios and details of the albums we are still searching for, are contained on this website. We have collected 875 albums so far.
The website also has details of our limited edition books "100 Albums : Olympic Studios" and “Forty-Five 45s”
